FR : Blood Axis est un groupe américain culte de la scène néofolk et opère depuis 1989. Ils sont parmi les fondateurs de la neofolk traditionnelle qui fait usage de beaucoup d’instruments à cordes. On pourrait les comparer aux finlandais de Tenhi. Cette compilation sortie en 2011 est un petit bijou qui regroupe 20 ans de Blood Axis. On y retrouve de la neofolk traditionnelle ainsi que certaines touches martiales. Mais le plus important c’est bel et bien la voix du chanteur qui a tout ce qu’il faut pour me plaire et pour vous plaire. Une voix qui ressort de la masse et qui est assez hors du commun.
